Farmer Perspectives On Livelihoods Within Grape Community In South Tangerang City

Grape vines are cultivated in South Tangerang City, not only by farmers, but also members of a grape community. This research aimed 1) to describe the characteristics 2) show perspective grapes farmer, and 3) identify problems expectations carrying out cultivation City. Data collected through interview, observation sharing questionnaires. The number samples was determined proportionally 68 who community City (KAT). results showed that farmers tended be knowledgeable educated, specified productive age (20-40 years old) with less experiences cultivation. Based on analysis, were attracted farming because influence farm-families background, hobbies self interest Farmers considered agriculture noble matter pride. most common facing insufficient land, inadequate agricultural funding base, formulating ideal growing media. expectation analysis proved training program desired assistance for especially effort increase productivity.
